Hawk Talks and Visits
Hampshire Hawk Talks

Birds of prey are a fascinating subject that can appeal to all ages, I can tailor a talk to focus on particular topics if required within the school curriculum and work with teachers when learning about the natural world, conservation, food webs and environmental issues. I have noticed that children are often far more engaged when you have a live bird for them to see and relate to.
Prices for talks start at £95.00. Cost is dependent on time of day, location and duration of the presentation, I am happy to visit in the evening and will travel up to an hour from my base in Hampshire near Alton. My focus is very much on learning and education and helping people of all ages to develop more of an understanding and appreciation of these amazing birds both as captive and wild animals.
If you are seeking a fun, educational and interactive speaker then I can visit your club, group or organisation with my team to deliver an interesting and varied talk about birds of prey and my life as a falconer.

I will bring along a Harris's hawk, a barn owl, kestrel and a buzzard for you to meet and learn about and to have the opportunity to hold on a glove for a photo. These birds give a good basis to understand the differences between many of the species and how they fly and hunt. The birds sit calmly on a perch or my gloved hand during the talk and will not be flying free, they are all very calm and used to being indoors in all types of environment in the company of people.

I have visited, residential homes, schools, clubs, WI groups, U3A groups, scouts and guides to name a few, all seem to greatly enjoy meeting the birds and learning lots of facts about them and their wild counterparts.

I will be giving a talk with the birds at the Triple FFF Brewery in Four Marks on 20th November from 6pm to 8pm
ALL WELCOME
