If you are keen to learn more about a range of different birds of prey you are guaranteed to come away smiling with lots of new knowledge. Their flying displays are jaw dropping and there's plenty to keep you entertained all day .

Both fresh and frozen, Pete and Jan Sole offer amazing deals on venison including muntjac and roe as well as game birds and other local game meat. Eating game is sustainable and ethical and Medstead Meats offer affordable game for all to try.

A lovely independent & family owned garden centre just 1 minute from the woodland meeting point, their Tree House cafe serves lovely lunches and cream teas and is a great place to enjoy some refreshments before or after a hawk walk, equally a good place to visit for anyone dog or child sitting while family are with me on a walk.
My wonderful friend Sarah White owner of Game Bird Shooting is a fantastic clay pigeon shooting instructor, if you are keen to spend a couple of hours learning to shoot, I really can't recommend Sarah highly enough, whether shooting for the first time or experienced and looking to improve, you are guaranteed to develop your skills. If you would like to arrange a multi experience day to include falconry and shooting Sarah and I can liaise to organise an unforgettable day for you.
If you are looking for a pub locally with range of great beers and excellent home cooked food then the Rose and Crown just a couple of miles away in Farringdon is a hidden gem.

Its a fascinating grand house in a beautiful parkland setting. If you choose to do your hawk walk at Chawton you will be walking within the grounds and follow in Jane's footsteps. You can also visit the house, gardens and tearooms (subject to an additional fee and opening times)
