Harris Hawk Experiences
I specialise in private falconry experiences, hawk walks and talks with my birds of prey. A hawk walk in a beautiful setting is a great way to spend a couple of hours and get close to nature and learn all about these amazing predators and the environment they live in. I have a wonderful barn owl, a kestrel and a buzzard along side my team of Harris's hawks.
All walks and experiences are one to one, you are not in a group with strangers, so your experience is completely unique to you and your guests, giving you the opportunity to really be a falconer for the whole session and get to know the hawk you are flying. My aim is to give you an unhurried and unforgettable falconry experience that will make memories that will last forever. You can bring along a spectator to share your experience and take photographs of you handing the hawk throughout.
Bird of Prey Experience
Based in Hampshire, I offer a truly one to one and natural falconry experience with my team of Harris's hawks.
Walking within the beautiful grounds of either Chawton House near Alton in Hampshire or our private woodland venue in Four Marks you will be completely immersed into the world of the hawk and the countryside around you. During your hawk walk you will spend lots of time handling the hawk I have chosen for your experience, watching them fly and hunt, I will tell you all about their behaviour as they interact with us and their surroundings. ​
Chawton House is also the perfect setting in the summer for an afternoon or evening walk with Willow my female barn owl, available from March to September, watch Willow as she flies over our meadow and demonstrates how she would hunt in the wild.
If you have a group, club or school and would be interested in a talk, I am also happy to visit with some of my team, to tell you all about different bird of prey species and my life as a falconer.
